The add-in sends no data automatically. I keep licence, payment and support records so I can fulfil your purchase and help you use Frank.
Frank makes no network calls at all. No telemetry, no usage tracking, no update checks, no account, no licence server. Frank reads your workbooks locally; I do not receive them through the add-in.
Frank stores settings and diagnostic files on your own machine. These include:
The trial start and last-used dates are also stored locally in files and in your Windows user registry, to check expiry and detect obvious clock changes. Error details can include workbook and sheet names, a cell address and file paths. If you compare a file with the same name as the open workbook, Frank creates a local temporary copy and tries to delete it when comparison finishes, including on failure. A crash or a locked file can leave a copy behind. Review diagnostics before sharing them.
Uninstalling leaves these in place so your settings survive a reinstall. You can delete the folder yourself at any time.
Upgrades preserve your settings and licence. Local trial records also remain after uninstalling; reinstalling does not restart the trial.
I do not sell or rent your data, and I do not send marketing. Email is handled through Cloudflare Email Routing and Gmail; payments are handled through the banks involved in PayNow. The only emails you will get from me are about your licence, a new version, or a reply to something you asked.
Payment is arranged by email and collected manually through PayNow in Singapore dollars. I send the payment details after confirming your order. There is no card checkout or Stripe payment integration on this site.
I keep the transaction details needed to match your payment to your licence, such as the payer name shown by the bank, amount, date and payment reference, together with purchase and refund records. Please do not send bank passwords, PINs or one-time codes.
frankforexcel.com uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without building a profile of you or following you across other sites. It provides aggregate page-view and visit statistics, including approximate country information, not a list of identified visitors.
The website also supports an aggregate installer-request counter hosted on Cloudflare. When enabled, it stores daily totals by installer version, with partial-file requests and setup tests counted separately. The counter does not store IP addresses, names, email addresses, cookies, device identifiers or individual request histories. Cloudflare still processes network requests to deliver and protect the site. These totals do not tell me who installed Frank or whether a download completed; the add-in itself still makes no network calls.
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request for the font file. There is nothing else third-party on the page.
Licence records for as long as you hold a licence, and afterwards for as long as I need them for tax and accounting purposes. Support email for as long as it is useful, and not indefinitely.
Under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act you can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or withdraw your consent to my holding it. Email support@frankforexcel.com and I will deal with it myself. Withdrawing consent means I can no longer issue or renew your licence.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, I will email licence holders rather than quietly editing the page.
